Welsh has been added to Google Translate. Now there are some fairly dire Welsh language translations out there already, but just wait until our public bodies latch on to this.
I've tried it and it's not too bad. It's certainly the best current machine translation. It's only really suitable as a starting point, though. Nevertheless, even a token effort would be more welcome than no effort, as with the current temporary signs warning of (non-existent) loose chippings around the lake (sorry, Jewel in the Crown) in Llandrindod.
I agree and well done to Google for providing this. My beef is with those public bodies who already come up with ropy translations and may be tempted to use Google Translate. I know that sounds far-fetched but
